Runway to Love: bell hooks' celebration
The Ferlinghetti Girls and Ronnie Mae Painter presented a fashion show/poetry reading in memory of the late All About Love author bell hooks. Our participants dressed up or down and transformed the cafe aisle into a runway of love to celebrate small acts of kindness or read a simple quote of bell's. Here's one: "Love is an action, never simply a feeling."
